The Basic Coatings Tykote system is the new and easy program that allows you to recoat urethane finished hardwood floors without the mess and inconvenience of sanding. A two part cleaning process is followed by an application of Tykote (a low solid bonding agent). The last step is a topcoat of Street Shoe water based urethane. This is an industry-approved method of recoating the new aluminum oxide polyurethane prefinished wood floors.
